1. Data Controller

The party responsible for data processing on this website is the entity named in the Legal Notice.

2. Hosting and Server Log Files

This website is hosted by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Straße 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany. When you access the site, the server automatically collects data transmitted by your browser and stores it in log files:

IP address, date and time of access, page or file accessed, amount of data transferred, HTTP status code, referrer URL, and browser type and operating system.

The purpose is the technical provision, stability and security of the website (detecting and defending against attacks). The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest lies in secure, trouble-free operation. Log files are automatically deleted after 7 days. A data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR is in place with the hosting provider.

3. Check-in Form ("Check in now")

The form lets you check in a boat or team on a non-binding basis for the Elbmiral's Cup 2027. Only the details you enter are processed: boat or team name and YS rating. No email address or other contact details are collected.

The purpose is organizing and planning the event. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (interest in preparing the regatta). The details are stored on the server and deleted once the event has concluded or once official registration switches over to manage2sail (from 01/01/2027). No data is passed on to third parties.

To protect against automated entries, the form contains a hidden field ("honeypot"); no additional data about you is collected through this.

4. Cookies

The public website does not use cookies or tracking. Only in the password-protected admin area is a technically necessary session cookie used to keep you logged in. No consent is required for this (§ 25(2) No. 2 TDDDG).

5. No Third-Party Services

No content is loaded from third-party servers. Fonts, scripts and images are served exclusively from this server. No analytics tools, advertising networks, social networks, map services or content delivery networks are embedded.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16 GDPR), erasure (Art. 17 GDPR), restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR), data portability (Art. 20 GDPR), and the right to object, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to processing based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (Art. 21 GDPR).
